Common Core Learning Standards Open Call
There are presently no open calls for submissions.
OVERVIEW
As New York transitions towards full-scale implementation of the Common Core Learning Standards (CCLS), in addition to recommending CCLS-aligned core curriculum in ELA and math, the New York City Department of Education has prioritized the development of social studies and science instructional and curricular materials to assist educators across the city in the implementation of the standards.
As an extension of the Common Core Fellows review process, we are now inviting science and social studies fellows to apply for mini-grants to create and develop CCLS-aligned instructional and curricular materials. The application process will entail fellows forming teams at their schools or networks to create and implement (if possible) a task and unit. Below you will find instructions for the application process, in addition to a timeline of due dates for submission of materials.
